I’m getting antsy. Right now the wind is howling outside, the temperature has dropped and it’s snowing. I’m crossing my fingers for better weather for Ju’s trip here tomorrow.

Work has been crazy this week. They’ve been doing test runs (no need for you to understand and I don’t have time to explain) which has added a bit of stress to the mix… of new people being trained, supervisor off sick, just a bunch of out-of-the-ordinary stuff to make the week seem longer. Those beautiful days when the sun actually came out and melted snow seem long gone already. So tomorrow I’m wearing my imaginary TGIF shirt. And a big smile.

Nothing interesting to say, I just wanted to use my Pretty New Blog.

  1. Ben, if you read this, I can’t comment on your blog. I need your email please. Mine is onewinkatatime@hotmail.com.

  2. It is a dang purty blog, too, if I do say so my dang self.

Winter blahs suck. I won’t even mention that we hit 82 degrees here today, nor that I drove home from work with my top down (the top on my car, ya perv!).

  3. Mark- You suck, man πŸ˜‰ Let me rephrase that- our weather sucks. And you give me too much perv credit, I wasn’t even thinking it. ;-P

  4. Damn blogger.

“Dead men don’t wear plaid”. You know, just for your great movie quotes.

  5. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for safe drving for the Clan JuJu. Hopefully the nice (but not Texas nice) weather we’re having here will cruise on toward PA by this weekend.

    It is a purdy blog.

  6. Well yeah, it’s purdy enough, but if enough people start leaving comments here about how attractive the thing is it’s going to go to Winker’s head. And we CAN’T have that!

Thinking good thoughts for Ju and her brood. She deserves a couple of days off from the pace she’s been keeping.

I share the TGIF sentiment. Thankfully, I have a habit of dining out for lunch on Fridays with a couple of co-workers and today I treated myself to a lovely pint of beer with my burger and fries. YUM!

  7. Ben- Good quote. I got a gazillion of ’em, not sure how I landed on the ones I put up. Maybe I’ll change them from time to time or something… Thanks for the mail. You are sooooooooo damn good.

Mok’en- Thanks, as I write this they are about halfway here, I will relax when they turn in the driveway. How about that Texas weather? I think I can live without that kind of knowledge, how ’bout you?

Simon- I’m glad everybody thinks my blog is so freakin’ purdy but save the compliments until I get my very own, custom designed awesome blog one day.
Why do you think I let things go to my head???
I am sooo going to pamper Ju this weekend. She won’t know what hit her πŸ˜‰
Sounds like a great Friday lunch. πŸ™‚

  8. This is definitely a pretty new blog! πŸ™‚ My wife came in complaining about fire and tornado drills today. I guess everybody has some sort of “test run” every once in awhile.

  9. Love your new blog. I will love it even better if it allows me to comment. So far 51 is boring, but I think it is the weather.
Ice storm cometh today. Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and ____.
    Where did the Tyme go??
    Love, Kate

  10. I have tried 3 times to comment. I wrote really witty things and nothing
happened. Last try tonight…. I need a new computer.

  11. Thyme? Did that TEACHER forget the “h” ???

Ok, maybe it’s spelled both ways…
